Tomas Palley es un economista residente en Washington D. C. Trabaja en el proyecto“Economics for Democratic & Open Societies”, del cual es fundador. Thomas Palley is an independent economist and author living in Washington, DC. He works on the Economics for Democratic & Open Societies Project, which he founded, and he is also a founder and co-editor of the Review of Keynesian Economics. Dr. Palley has held positions as Chief Economist with the US – China Economic and Security Review Commission, Director of the Open Society Institute’s Globalization Reform Project, and Assistant Director of Public Policy at the AFL-CIO. He holds a B.A. degree from Oxford University and an M.A. degree in International Relations and Ph.D. in Economics, both from Yale University. He has written everal books, including: Neoliberalism and the Road to Inequality and Stagnation (Edward Elgar, 2021); From Financial Crisis to Stagnation:
The Destruction of Shared Prosperity and the Role of Economics (Cambridge University Press, 2012); Plenty of Nothing: The Downsizing of the American Dream and the Case for Structural Keynesianism (Princeton University Press,
